Role overview

To work with the team to drive Redwood against the Business Plan and Key Performance Indicators. This is a client facing role undertaking a variety of company secretarial and governance functions. You would be expected to undertake regular business development meetings and travel in order to obtain new business and maintain existing client relationships.


Responsibilities include maintenance of the high standards of servicing to existing clients. To grow and manage a team of individuals to service clients. To liaise with Board members and other relevant parties in respect of meeting arrangements and formalities. To manage the timely preparation of board and committee minutes and documentation in line with agreed timeframes. To prepare agendas, notices, proxies and other supporting documents for General Meetings, including liaison with relevant stakeholders. To ensure all necessary company filings are submitted on time and that the statutory and corporate governance documentation is maintained. Assistance with onboarding and or establishment of new clients. Continued training and development to ensure competency. To act as Authorised Signatory. Any other duties as agreed from time to time.


Knowledge, skills and experience

Experience of working in a company secretarial or fund administrator role is essential.

Experience working with listed companies is preferable but is not essential.

Excellent client service skills including the ability to manage client expectations.

The ability to keep clear and concise records and to add value to the Company Secretarial role.

Good experience of writing concise and accurate minutes.

The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe etc. and a willingness to become proficient using new software packages.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team as well as on your own.

Excellent organisational and planning skills to reduce/avoid operational pressures and plan ahead to ensure service standards are always met.

Professionalism and the drive to work collaboratively to make continuous improvements in processes.


Qualifications and Experience

Preferably 5 years’ experience in company secretarial or fund admin positions.Relevant professional qualification or studying toward relevant professional qualifications. Including MBA, CG (ICSA), MSc or similar.
