Job Description:
We are seeking a Compliance Officer on a permanent basis. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, and will require previous compliance experience. Flexibility to the working hours can be offered as we seek a candidate to work a minimum of 3 days per week (22.5 hours).
• Undertaking compliance monitoring programmes for clients of Redwood remotely and on-site at the client’s office to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Completing and reviewing client documentation for client onboarding and periodic CDD reviews.
• Ensuring efficient collection and management of CDD, liaising with both internal teams and external clients when required.
• Undertaking screening on behalf of clients using Risk Screen,
• Engaging in the continuous improvement of compliance processes and practices within the company and updating policies and procedures accordingly.
• Providing management reporting information as required.
• Other ad-hoc duties and project work as directed by the Line Manager.
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate the following attributes:
• An enthusiastic individual, who can work independently under pressure but who also enjoys supporting others and working cohesively.
Ideally will hold a relevant professional qualification from a recognised body (e.g. ICA)/ is willing to obtain a relevant qualification or otherwise be qualified by experience.
• Previous experience in a compliance role with detailed knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory environment.
• Integrity and professionalism in handing sensitive matters.
• Good problem- solving and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail and written communication skills.
