Philippa Nicolle
Senior HR Consultant
Philippa Nicolle is an experienced HR leader with over 30 years’ experience supporting organisations across the Channel Islands, UK and international jurisdictions. She brings deep expertise across the full employee lifecycle and is known for providing pragmatic, trusted advice that balances commercial realities with people‑centred outcomes.
Most recently, Philippa was Head of People and Organisation and Facilities at a Private Bank, where she led the P&O and Facilities teams across Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man, and supported a Swiss branch at Executive Committee level. Working closely with Boards and senior leadership teams, she has advised on people strategy, culture and climate, talent and succession planning, reward, performance management and complex employee relations matters and oversaw the full refurbishment of the company offices.
Earlier in her career, Philippa held senior HR roles with the finance sector covering funds, trust and fiduciary, alongside experience in global mobility, organisational development, multiple jurisdictions in Europe and the Middle East and large‑scale HR change programmes.
Over her career she has successfully delivered HR system implementations, organisational restructures, office refurbishments, policy harmonisation and regulatory change, including population management and secondary pension legislation.
Philippa is valued for her calm, diplomatic approach and her ability to build strong relationships at all levels of an organisation. She combines strategic insight with hands‑on practical support, ensuring HR solutions are clear, compliant and aligned with business objectives.
She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a qualified Mental Health First Aider. Outside of work, Philippa is actively involved in the local community through music and voluntary roles.
