Will Paine

Will is a senior compliance and risk executive with over 20 years’ experience in financial services, including senior leadership roles across the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, and Europe. As Managing Director of Redwood Group Jersey, he leads the delivery of outsourced regulatory, governance, and compliance solutions to a wide range of financial services businesses, law firms, estate agents, and non-profit organisations.

Prior to Redwood, Will held Chief Risk Officer and Chief Control Officer roles at HSBC, where he was responsible for enterprise-wide risk across trust, private banking, commercial, and retail businesses. He has worked closely with regulators across multiple jurisdictions and is known for his collaborative, commercially focused leadership style, enabling to clients grow safely, with clarity and confidence.

Will is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII), a certified Operational Risk Manager (PRMIA), and holds a Diploma in Governance, Risk & Compliance from the ICA.
